Sister time on the new mat.

We bought a new play mat and had a play time today...

You can't really tell from the photo but though B started out over an inch shorter, she has caught up.  However, though everything about B's face is smaller than A's, overall B's head is bigger and more spherical.

After a few minute of back time, Daddy tried a little tummy time but A's was not having anything to do with that.

Attempted and aborted tummy time.
So back to sister bonding time. Some shirtless time, that Mommy vetoed for general public viewing, and then some crying time.  Feed me, feed me, feed me time.

Bye now... ...I need to eat.
Though I can't show the photos, shirtless time, shows that B is packing on the weight on her belly while A is packing it on her legs and arms. Also B is two shades of white, whiter but that is noticeable in their faces.  Mommy wants a foot by foot comparison photo but babies are not cooperating.

Burping time...

Dogs and babies....

Before the babies were born, Daddy was worried we would have to get rid of the dog guardians based on the how they reacted around kids and puppies at the dog park.

However, it has been a completely different story. Max initially would sit next to the door when we first brought the babies home. Max would cry and try to climb through the fence we put around the babies, he was a built in baby monitor. Max would try to sniff and get as close as possible, he would behave as a nurse dog. Marvel on the other hand, well if it's not squirrel then it is nothing. Marvel has been showing more interest because squirrels are getting difficult.

While both dogs may have successfully pulled off a lick now and then, mommy and daddy have tried their best to keep the dogs away. We have allow the dogs to smell from time to time but until the babies are 100 days old, the dog don't get to lick.

The only major problem is that Max is a destroyer dog, meaning if it touches the floor he gets to destroy it. So pacifiers, blankets, baby mittens, baby socks, and stuff animals all belong to him to destroy. This is will be a nice thing when it comes to food, especially Cheerios, in the near future.

(Reminder - Clicking on a photo will open a slideshow and can view larger photos. I recommend doing just that for this blog, too many photos to just scroll to the bottom for.)

Max and Baby A

Notice my right hand is gently pushing on Max's chest. Easiest way to control a dog.

Making is going for A's foot/sock to lick.

Why did you move me here, Daddy?

I really want to lick this?

Riding Time

Max is into the riding thing, A is not.

Marvel's Turn

This is getting boring

This dog is getting close, not as aggressive but still curious.

Marvel does not like the riding idea

One + Two Babies = Three

Juggling two babies at once is definitely quite the handful and an interesting balancing act. They still don't cooperate. The hardest part is trying to feed one and balance the other.

In every photo, Daddy is thinking exactly how is Daddy going to react if for some reason one was to quickly move. So no one was in any danger in any of these photos except maybe Mr. Wombat in the last photo.
April 24th - Feeding A while talking to B
The next two photos are what Daddy calls the Bobsled tryout. Who gets to be the driver and whose the brakeman/pusher.
May 6th - B is trying out for driver.
May 6th - A is saying no to the driver position.
Looks like as Daddy suspected B will be the adventurous one, however, A will push her into it.

Sometimes both get Daddy after meal time. Time to be relaxed.
May 10th -- Dinner time is over for at least the next three hours.
May 10th - B is content, A is "do I have to be here?"

Sometimes Mommy gets into the act.
May 11th - Mommy doing a double football hold

Dinner time is over once again.
May  24th

May 24th, B wants to play.

Sometimes Daddy gets one in transition, A has been fed, B is waiting. However, dog guardian, Max, thinks Mr. Wombat is his.
May 25th - Max wants Mr. Wombat as A and B look on.

Back Yard - Greenery and Dogs...

Well Daddy has been working everyday for the past month and mommy has been taking care of both babies, and she somehow cooks daddy dinner when he comes home.

But mommy does gets some breaks and this is what mommy found in the backyard....

Birds of Paradise
Bird of Paradise
No idea but the bee's love it

I didn't plant this... ..it showed up in a pot growing and I was curious.

Dogs looking for lizards. One of the favorite places to find them.

Lizards hide in the Bird of Paradise Plant

And on the inside of the house...

Just a lazy dog.
