Blocks - Towers and Walls.

To my girls,

Last year our neighbor gave you some blocks to play with. Daddy showed you how to stack three blocks on top of each other and let you play. Shortly there after the doctor asked if you could stack blocks and daddy gladly announced that BB was up to 12 high, impressive for less than 2 years old. Recently, daddy walked out of the room and BB was yelling, "Daddy blocks..."

Going for 21 high.

Twenty-One was a success.

Going for 25 high.

Changed her mind and decided a different direction.

Success, 25 high,.... oh, no...

Now the attention has changed to multiple column towers or walls.

Three columns

A decides to help in the project.

A little moral support

A thinks needs a little work at the base.

Now a two column tower, base work resulted in collapse of one column.

Team work, going high with two columns, adding to 14 high.

Fourteen high, before the great fall (note only 30 bricks so just two short of using them all)

This one started out as 5 columns.

Play-Doh and Crayons....

Today was an art day, first day to ever play with "play-doh", and actually first day with daddy setting up the table for crayons.

Not sure what to so with Play-Doh
Smaller pieces make it look like more.
Crayon magic

And with that I will end this with....

Friends... best friends?

My girls...

Today you are officially 3 months short of turning of 3 and it was a big day. First time you used a public toilet, the toilet training efforts are paying off. Daddy couldn't be happier and so were you too when you went.

We went to the aquarium today and met up with two of your friends, AJ and KJ. (Daddy will admit at this time, he is clueless as to which one is which). For the most part it was the most giggling, laughing, and running I have seen you four have.

AJ, KJ, and A enjoying a snack at the wall of fish and water.
BB joins in on the snacks and fish observing.
However last week at the park was a laughing festival too. It is so great seeing you two make friends. And speaking of friends and park we also saw AT and OT at the park last week.

Going up the stairs, A leading, followed by AT, BB, and OT
Coming down, A first, AT, second, OT and BB bringing up the rear.

At the bottom, each of them had a stick in their hands at the end.

I don't know what goes through a toddler's mind but when all four are meeting at the gate or...

BB, A, AJ and KJ meeting at the gate.
...or  two are walking off hand in hand. I know you are friends and the best of friends. Daddy is hoping the relationship happens forever.

BB and AT
(Or least until he gets to coach a volleyball team made up of twins).
